London Case Number and Medical

Hey everyone,

My fiance and I got our NOA2 on 06/06. If I understand correctly, the next step before interview (after London has received the packet) is Medical. I had read online that you cannot schedule the medical until you have your London Case Number. If this is true, when will I be able to find out the London Case Number? Can I call NVC when they receive the forms from USCIS and get it or do we have to wait until the embassy in London has received the packet?

Thanks in advance!

Call NVC next week and if they have your petition, they should be able to give you the new case number :)

Call NVC and give them your USCIS receipt number. They will ask you a couple of personal questions to verify who you are. Then they will tell you the status of the petition. You will need to ask them for the LDN number. You can call DOS to find out if the petition has reached the Consulate and its status. Congrats on the NOA2! Best wishes for the rest of the journey.
