Hi guys,

Just looking forward to the I-134 and that my future mother in law is going to act as Sponsor for my k-1 so I am just trying to work out what the household size will be.

We will be living in a separate house to her.

In the FMIL's house liver herself, her husband, their 2 grandchildren and another whom she cares for that is disabled.

Would I be correct in assuming that the household count would be: her+her husband+2x kids+other in care+me? i.e. 6? Or would Heather (USC) also be included?

Therefore household size of 6 - income requirements are $29,990? (2011 HHS poverty guidelines)

Thanks

The 134 is for the co sponsors household. SO if you live there then yes you are included. If I am correct your fiance is not included yet as he is not in the USA yet. This is for packet 4 to send back to embassy yes?

Divorced !st November 2012.

Married only 2 years 1 month

The household size would indeed be 6, with Heather not included.

The poverty guideline is indeed $29,990, however for the I-864 filed with Adjustment of Status you are required to prove 125% of that, ie £37,487, and I was under the impression that the UK generally require that same standard for the I-134. However, I could be wrong.

If the grandchildren are claimed as dependents then they are included in the household count. Same for the other (disabled) person. If not, then they are not included in the count.

Thank you. It is 125%, so yes $37,487!
