Is it true that NVC forwards approved K-1 petitions to embassies only on Fridays?

If that's the case there is no point in calling from Monday to Thursday if it hasn't been sent out the week before

Thanks

Can't say if that is true or not - never heard of any specific day(s).

It is very likely that "stuff" going to Embassies/Consulates are bundled together (batched) -vs- sent individually (which many folks seem to believe) so it makes sense that there might be certain days where 'if it's in the bin, it goes' kind of a process happening.

Might also depend on the Embassy/Consulate - busier ones might get multiple batches throughout the week while others not.
