Translating thai birth certificate and certificate of unmarried status for interview?

Sorry it has been a long day. After talking to Pui she never translated her birth thai certificate and certificate of unmarried. Does she need to have to translated for her interview? Since the interview is tomorrow I am having her translate it. Thanks everyone.

It has been a LONG day. I reread the packet 3 instructions and we do not need to translate as long as it is thai or english. As the line in the movie UHF I am "OH SO STUPID".

You won't need the translation of the BC for the interview in Bangkok, but you will need it when she files for AOS once she is in the USA.

None that I know of, but doesn't mean that they don't exist. The translation should be identical in content to the original, even if there are any errors. My wife's birth certificate contained an error, which was translated 'as is' into English. However, she also had an official government letter accompanying that explained the error (also translated into English). She had no problems. Translations should include the following on a separate sheet of paper:

I, (name of translator) certify that I am competent in the English and (foreign language translated) and that this is a true and accurate translation of the (name of document). Translated from the original on (date)
