What do you plan to do when you visit the Philippines again?

I plan to :

- See my dentist

- Sleep with my Grandma

- Get my son his precsiption glasses

- Visit my Grandfather at Loyola Cemetery

- See my Derma

When I go to the Philippine, I spent 99% of the time with my fiancee. Of course I need like 1% to spend it going to the ATM machine or exchanging dollars to pesos

hehe, just got back from Philippines :dance: Spent all my time with my fiance. Got a wonderful dose of "lambing", ate with my soon-to-be-in-laws. Spent time in the village, crossing a river on a "raft", looking at boats, nets, fish, and shopping at the "mall", besides going to "mass", and waling around the village. Plus saw the kitche "addition" to the house, and the new "doors" to the bedrooms. Had a wonderful time and already miss her much.... planning the next trip.... where oh where is the NOA2???

Yup, I'll eat Filipino food non stop - batchoy. kare kare, grilled bangus and pusit...yum yum yum.. plus taho, halo halo, fishball... hay naku!

I've been wanting to visit Bohol, but hubby will not be with me so I have to set aside that trip

Stuff to bring from US to PHL:

Chocolate is a big favorite, and US t-shirts and baseball caps. Electronics are also really expensive here in PHL. My wife's camera (a pink Canon SD-1400), was $150 in the US and I saw one in the mall here for 18,000+ pesos (~$400). Other electronics (laptops, etc.) seem to be similarly priced, probably due to high import taxes.

don't forget...you get to eat isaw again. i love that! but of course, it helps kung kilala mo yung gumagawa/nagtitinda ng isaw so alam mo na malinis pagkagawa.

as far as what to bring back from Pinas....whenever a relative or friend comes back from the Philippines, i always tell them to bring me back butong pakwan for pasalubong. yung galing pampangga...they have the soft shells kaya hindi mahirap buksan.
