For financial proof for Ciudad Juarez we're filling out the I-134, but we have a co-sponsor and we have their paystub and a letter of employment from her employer, do we also need their tax returns? The reason I ask is because since the co sponsor files taxes jointly with her husband who owns his own business, the tax returns are like 20 pages long! That's a lot to present to the interview (I think?)

If we need them, I'll bring them, I just wanted to double check before we lug a whole book to Juarez B-)

yes you need them for the co-sponsor.

Why not just have them get an IRS tax transcript? it will be less pages and its more favored by the embassy/consul.

We did not include any tax information with our I-134 and they didn't ask for any. We just had pay stubs, quarterly bank statements, things like that. The requirements for Mexico seem to be looser than some other countries and as long as you have something official there aren't any specific documents that you need prove it.

You WILL need the official transcripts for the AOS and you can do what we did and go online to IRS.gov and request a summary for any past years. It's free and takes about 3 minutes, ours came in 5 business days. If you need them anyways you may as well get them now and if they arrive in time make some copies to take to the interview.
