Just a general question about the I751 packet.

1. Should I highlight our names and address on the copies of our bills? Just to make it clear for them...or do they not like highlight marks.

2. Should I staple papers together...e.g. If I have a bank statement that is 2 pages long, do I staple them together or should I use a paperclip?

3. I plan on using a folder and putting everything inside of it (in order, with the cover letter being the first thing they'll see when they open it) . I've seen that some people use a hole punch and actually put their file in a binder. What's preferred?

This is all minor stuff, but I just want to have a nicely organized packet to send. :)

Hi

According to what we did, its a YES for 3 questions...thats what we did..however we did not highlight all of the names...we highlighted the first page then attached the rest in one file. We added a cover letter, we numbered all the attachments in the cover letter then kept them on groups (with the number) for easy access and to be more organized..

We haven't been approved yet, a May filer though :)

good luck!

you can use only yellow highlite, put your alien reg number on top right side of each paper, do not use any staples, use ony paper clips, you don't need to punch holes, just a large clip in the top center to keep it all togather, you don't need a folder, when it's received, it's taken a part an put it whay they want it put in there files,
