Well, color me shocked. Our petition was approved today. :-D

I'll get my mom to co-sponsor for the I-134, even though she's iffy about my guy and I am getting him on this continent ASAP. Heeheehee!

01.02.2010 - Started talking online.

09.03.2010 - Decided to become exclusive.

17.05.2010 - Met in person in London and fell madly in love.

27.05.2010 - Got engaged.

28.01.2011 - Sent I-129F Petition for Alien Fiance(e) to Dallas Lockbox.

02.02.2011 - NOA1. Received word that case had been sent to Vermont Service Center.

31.05.2011 - NOA2 118 days from date of NOA1.

08.06.2011 - Date of letter stating that NVC received our approved 129-F petition and that petition will be forwarded to London Embassy within a week.

16.06.2011 - John receives Packet 3? (Will verify, he's bad about dates.)

24.06.2011 - John gets a required tetanus booster at his local surgery.

06.07.2011 - John sends Packet 3 to London and the request for the police certificate to Fareham.

12.07.2011 - John receives two copies of police certificate and makes an appointment for the medical in London.

19.07.2011 - John's medical appointment with Knightsbridge.

15.08.2011 - John receives appointment letter.

13.09.2011 - John's interview in London. Visa approved!

28.09.2011 - John comes to Texas and moves in.

05.11.2011 - Wedding date.

Thank you all.

I feel like I owe quite a debt of gratitude to this site. I've been doing most of my research of the visa process here (it certainly helped me to put together a very well-organized petition packet) and I will continue to use it through my fiance's arrival and eventual progress to US citizenship. Plus lurking on the boards has been very helpful as far as giving me more of an idea of what other people's experiences are like - I feel a lot less alone, for one thing. Thanks again! :)
