Same here.

Thanks to you, BTW! You were the one suggesting this to me and it was well-worth it! Not only that it was more satisfying but thanks to your advice I probably saved at least $1K on airfare due to earlier booking.

One thing to have in mind, though! If your fiancee wants to travel after interview, make her come to Moscow, pick up the package from the DHL closest to the Embassy and then fly 5th business day post-interview. Going away from Moscow is less predictable time-wise...

We had the package held at a different DHL facility, and it almost turned into a disaster. When we picked up the package there was a problem with her daughters visa. The daughter was not traveling with us and we were going to send it off to her from the DHL office. The embassy did not issue the visa and claimed the fee for the daughters visa was not paid. Fortunately we had the receipt for both visas, but had to hustle over to the embassy to correct this problem as we were leaving the next day. Got to the embassy a few minutes before 4:00 PM, their closing time. I got into a heated discussion with the Russian guard outside and told him I wasn't leaving until I got inside to talk to someone. He left and returned a few minutes later and allowed me in. The person I talked to helped me out and told me I needed a new DHL reciept and a copy of the receipt for the visa and it needed to be dropped off at some hard to find north embassy entrance at the drop box. Managed to get everything done that day but just one more immigration headache I did not need.

Someone stole my dictionary. Now I am at a loss for words.
