On May 17th, I received the I797C Transfer Notice stating in order to speed up case we have transferred the above to the California Service Center.

Yesterday, I looked at my case status and it says this, totally different than the letter I received. I guess this means I was touched as I read online here.

The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you.

DOES THIS MEAN it has been transferred back out of the CSC and off to a local office for a possible interview??

Yeah its gone to CSC and will be approved quicker

May I ask when you mailed the original documents. We mailed our i485 and i765 about a month ago and have not heard anything.
