hello everyone I am a little confused here with my process...my wife and I filed forms I130 I485 and I765 when we received NOA1 for all three forms it had an area where it states "Preference Classification 201 B INA SPOUSE OF USC" so I checked on the I130 form and it states under "Section of Law/ Visa Category 201 (B) Spouse-IR-1/CR-1" so I hope I am in the right forum...here is my confusion we filed our paperwork in March and after reading other peoples postings I have noticed that around the time that they get a biometrics appointment letter their case gets transferred. After having my biometrics paperwork done on the 18th I received notification that the EAD (I765) had been approved and was in production. Yet as I continue to check on any updates I have noticed that my I130 and I485 have not been touched or transfered anywhere. Is this a normal thing or is there something wrong. Do all cases get transferred or are there cases that don't? Based on your experiences what should I expect going forward. When should I expect an update if any.

You will be having an interview.

You are not filing for a spousal visa you are adjusting status from a work/student or tourist visa based on marriage to a USC.

If you were filing for a spousal visa you would be in mexico waiting for your NOA2 and waiting to get your medical and CR-1/IR-1 interview.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Before we sent out our forms we had to do a medical exam so I guess that is why I am confused

Everyone who is applying for adjustment has to have a medical exam. It is a required part of the process.

You would either have it in your country if you were filing for the spousal/fiance visa or in the USA by a civil surgeon if adjusting from another visa.
