Please if you can help with a Tax situation

Hi All,

Thanks for all your support. I really learned a lot from this forum, I'm so thankful.

I filled for my Tax for 2010 and the ITEN number, the latter one was denied due to the notarization of passport photocopy. Now I need to send the required docs for ds-230, and I'm not sure what to do. When I called TX about my ITEN number they mentioned that they sent the tax paper to IRS, and I was waiting for ITEN number to file my State tax that I didn't send yet. However I do have all the paper I got from my accountant when she prepared the tax for me.

I have W-2 form, pay stubs, employment letter, and Tax transcript for 09,08.,07.

Please if you know such a situation or been there. do advise.

But these are not required documents for DS-230 (IV) rather for I-864 (AOS).

If you are referring to AOS, this is what I sent:

1. Completed and signed I-864

2. Tax Transcript for 2008, 2009, 2010

3. Pay stubs for past 6 months (though wasn't required)

4. Employment Letter (though wasn't required)

As you don't have the transcripts for 2010 (many may not have it for the current year), I think your W2 and the forms you submitted when you filed for tax would be good enough. Just make sure you send the originals (tax transcripts, and employemnt letter), for the copy of W2 and tax papers, noteraize them and plain copy of pay stubs should be just fine.
