DS-157

DS-256

DS-156K

DS-2001

CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME?? I NEED A DESCRIPTION ON WHAT TO DO WITH EACH OF THE FORMS, IM SO CONFUSED AND I REALLY DONT WANT TO MESS THIS UP.

i know to obviously fill them out, but do i send them all back at once? are there any documents that i need to send off with these forms?

im confused because if i have to send proof of engagment or relationship documents with these forms, then my fiance wont have the "proof" documents when he goes in for an interview.

there are exam forms here on this site you can take a look at. that may help. As far as you fiance not having proof documents to take to the interview, they should all be forwarded to the embassy from NVC so they should have them anyway. But play it smart make back up copies of all these for yourself, and another back up of copies to send to your fiance to have him take to the interview, its always best to be safe then sorry

alright thanks. what documents does he need to send to the embassy with these forms?

He needs to take the I-134 Affidavit of support that you ( the US Citizen ) should send him. He should get police reports from all places he lived for more than 6 months since age 16. Birth certificate, Divorce certificate (translations if not in English ). He also needs to get his medical exam done before the interview so they get the results. Pay the visa fees.

You should send him proof of ongoing relationship and possibly new signed marriage intent, and copy of the I-129F package so he can review it before the interview and possibly use to support any interview questions.

Most of the process is listed here:

Good Luck!

P.S. He'll also need Passport photos, I believe exactly what they need should be listed on the packet the consulate sends him.

Here is the website to read the instuctions and download the application for the police certficate he will need for the UK. If he has lived anywhere else for 6 months or more he will need to obtain police certficates for any other countries. http://www.acpo.police.uk/NationalPolicing/ACROCriminalRecordsOffice/PoliceCertificates.aspx

London does not require proof of engagement, or continued letters of intent to marry (unless you're outside your validity date)

Send ALL the forms listed in the post once they are completed and you have your police certificate. You will bring the I-134 from your fiance/finacee to the interview, along with your birth certificate, divorce decree, etc. TO THE INTERVIEW. Despite what the form says, do not send them. London works differently.

Schedule your medical as soon as you have your police certificate AND London has logged your case.

It's fairly straightforward; the example forms on here are great.
