Hi All,

I am preparing the documents to send to NVC along with DS230 package, I have following question if some one can help me.

My wife (Beneficiary) has Birth Certificate in another language (Gujarati) rather then in English, So I am wondering do I needs to send both (Original of Native language BC and Original of Translated BC) or only English Traslation will works ?

Thanks for your support.

I would send both, make sure you explain that one is translated and the other is the orginal in her language. It never hurts to be overly safe especially when it comes to this process! Good luck

Check with your embassy. Some embassies don't require translations if documents are in English or in an official language of your country.

Kem cho?

I'm Gujarati and so is my wife. We're from Vadodara. I was born in the USA though.

You want to have all documents that are in Gujarati, Hindi or whatever translated into English. Birth Certificate is one of the important documents that you want translated. You want to take both to the Interview. You want to take everything that can possible relate to your immigration journey.

Best of Luck to You!

Jai Shri Krishna!
