NOA1 hardcopy missing

Hi. A member told me that NOA1 is useless and that I really don't need it. But...

Somebody can give me an insight of what can I do to know is everything OK in the information (as names, beneficiary's country, etc.) if I didn't receive a NOA1 hardcopy? I know that I can call USCIS, but what exactly I need to request if they don't reissued the hardcopy? Just check with tier 1 the information?

I just want to do the right thing when I call

Thanks for your time. :star:

I can't say whether (or not) they'd reissue this receipt notice but if you call, don't refer to is as a NOA1 - they'll have no idea what you're talking about (that'd be VJ-lingo). It'd be your Notice of Action/I-797c (receipt notice).

I'd give it another couple of weeks to see if it shows up - sometimes it takes a while for some odd reason.

(In case folks have never seen one - below is an example.)

I'm very grateful for the information. I read here in VJ that NOA1 isn't re issued. It's been over 45 days and I have not received the NOA1 hardcopy (notice of action I-797c, ) and I read too, that some never get it. But if you suggest me to wait, I will wait one more week. Thank you very much for the image of the notification. It helped me a lot to know what I need to verify. :star:
