This has been asked a lot because the instructions are really unclear--- apparently you only need one if you've been convicted of a crime, but we're getting one anyway just to be sure.

They also say they aren't available in Mexico but there is the "antecedentes (spelling?) no penales" which is what we're going to bring with us.

also just as a heads up it's been reported by numerous people that most of the time the people at the consulate do not have correct information and it's not always good to listen to them.

08-03-2011 Got the visas!

08-04-2011 POE Juarez, 5 minutes at 6:10 am!!

08-19-2011 Married

10-19-2011 AOS package sent

11-08-2011 AOS package re-sent

11-22-2011 NOA1 date

12-20-2011 BIO apointment

I asked CDJ consulate and they answered it is not required (I have their answer in writing)

thanks I am happy to have this information...we now have the invitation letter so we are making plans to go to Juarez in 2 weeks...eeeeek!
