Following on from the RFE we received, the necessary information was sent to Vermont and we now have a RESPONSE REVIEW,where it is stated this can take up to another 60 days before we receive a decision. It is now almost 7 months since our NOA1, are we really looking at the possibility of another 2 months of waiting.

I think members that have been through this can give you good suggestions.

Some might say: 2 weeks and you'll have it.

Some might say Contact Your Congressman

I can't truthfully give you experience but there are plenty of Members who can.

I am taking a deep breath right now because I feel your stress. I think they give themselves 60 days, but hopefully they do not take the 60 days. My service request says 180 days and we have already waited 6 months. Let us pray that we all get through this with our physical and mental health. It is taking a toll on both of mine. I am not sure I am going to survive physically. Mentally, I keep trying to get tougher everyday, but the stress is taking me down physically.

Just breath. It will be ok.

NOA 1 November 15, 2010

NOA 2 August 25, 2011

Closed NVC Ocotber 11, 2011

Interview Date: January 12,2012

Thank you my wonderful God in Heaven.

I got an RFE, and received my NOA2 exactly one week after mailing my paperwork back to them. It depends on what your RFE was, but they are USUALLY pretty quick once they get back what they requested. Good luck. I'm betting you will have it within a week.

A large number of RFEs are resolved within a couple of weeks. I agree it depends what it was for but something like a missing photo or signed letter of intent is often within that time frame. I would give it about 2 weeks and then contact your Congressman.
