Hello everyone,

I'm a new member here. I have a question about civil document for DS 230, according LingChe NVC shortcut, it needs to send all civil documents (birth certificate, marriage ceritificate, police certificates of the beneficiary, copy of the beneficiary's passport biographic data page, 2 2"X2" (5X5cm) color passport photos of beneficiary) altogether with DS 230 to NVC or my wife can bring all these civil documents when she is interviewed at embassy ? I try to get all civil documents now from my wife if I need to send them to NVC before we begin our journey to NVC.

Thanks.

Yes you need to send copies of all of these to the NVC and have the originals available to bring to the interview. You can send the originals to the NVC (except for the passport) and they will be forwarded to the consulate for the interview where they will be returned to you.

Good Luck
