hello all readers.

I filed for vawa on january 3rd of 2011 its been 4 months now and havent heard anything from the uscis .Though I did recieve a prima facie for my case and on febuary 8 they sent RFE to which i responded by the way the RFE was a letter of good moral conduct. On febuary 28 i filed for adjustment of status which I didnt know I could have filed at the same time with i-360 for vawa.I have gone for biometers and fingerprint for adjustment of status at the begining of march.I also replied for work permit but forgot to enclose 2 passport photos which I just sent like 5 days ago.I havent heard anything about i-360 self pertition and I am begining to worry.Has anyone been approved of a vawa case lately is so ,could you be kind enough to post your time line? My last question is that I have a child with my abusive spouse( just to give you an idea my vawa is based of abuse i came on a k 1 visa got married with 90 days been married for 3 years and been through all kind of abuse you can think of) he threatens that if I leave and him knowing that i dont have legal status in the USA that i wont get our son or have joint custody of the child because i dont have a job and stable income and he knows i dont have relatives in the USA meaning he assumes i will stay in the shelter and because of that wouldnt allow his child to be in the shelter when he has a 3 bedroom house.I feel sad that he cant win and have all it .Its onother thing to abuse someone and not petition for there adjustment of status for them but its more cruel to wanting to get a child from its mother taking advantage of them because there not USA citizen and all because you didnt file domentation for them.So what can I do as far as our child is conerned if it were in my hand I would want us to have joint custody of our child .He is a good father to the child but mean and my other 2 kids which arent his ,I came with them from my country and he did file for there visa at the same time I came .They came on a k2 visa.I will really appreciate your help.

so is some disconnect between the I-360 case and the AOS case, yes? Suggest you call USCIS, get a Tier 2 Human, and ask for more input. In most cases, a Tier 2 Human, an ISO, can resolve most matters that could have been handled at an infopass appointment.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

I think is too early to expect something from jacks concerning your i360.

Here my time line

18 oct 2010 i360 filled

29 oct 2010 receipt and prima facie

29 oct 2010 rfe good moral and abuse

13 Jan 2011 respond to rfe

20 April 2011 approved

Now transferring I-485 based on I-130 to based I-360

With regards to your own kids I think you could have include them in your i360 Application you may want to call jacks and get some advice.
