Husband knows to go to Police Headquarters in Accra to apply for the Police Report that will take a week or two to obtain but what is the fee? I've heard it is 50.00 USD for the pictures and the certificate but just want to be certain... I feel an NOA2 coming on in the next 4 weeks...

Google is your friend: http://www.ghanapolice.info/cid/clearance_cert.htm

Don't get it until you have an interview date. Ghana is notorious for having long wait times for interviews The closer you get the police certificate to the interview the better. Their turnaround time is about 10 days.

Thanks for the link for the GH police... CR-1 is different than K-1.. We will need a police report for the NVC stage with the CR-1 & then turn around and get a new one for the interview (making sure its not more than 30-days old) when that time arises. I we won't apply for the Police Report for another 2 weeks but I just want to be ready bcz CSC has been giving NOA2 clearance for January 2011 filers... & No pessimistic approach here... I KNOW we are next(at least by June 10th) I can feel it.. lolol

Kamson,

the most you will pay for the pictures might be 10 GHC. All in all, this should not cost more than $30 US. You are right though that when interview time comes, you will need to get new PCC and make sure @ interview he has new birth certificate.
