How would i get him here to come to the US and what are the things i should do and where should i start? he already has a passport but no visa stamped on her passport yet. can he still avail of the k2 visa or do i need to file petition for alien relative? please help me...

If you listed your child as will follow to join, he will be eligible until one year from the issuance of your visa. Get the medical and visa paid. I think the visa will be automatically approved since the child derives all benefits from your approved visa. I hope your husband listed your child on the I-129F as a follow to join.

If your USC husband did not list him on the I-129F, he will need to petition your son using I-130, immediate family member. The relationship is stepfather/stepson.

thanks for the reply. yes, my son was listed on the I-129F. My problem now is that i don't know where to start or what to do. do i need to call the embassy and set an appointment interview for my son or are they the one who will set the interview date? because as what i can remember when i was still processing my k1 visa, i called the embassy to set an appointment for interview, after that i paid $350 for the non-immigrant visa fee, then undergone medical tests, then had the interview, then one week after the interview i received my visa. my question is how do i process my son's k2 visa? do i need to send forms to the embassy? do i still need to pay the $350 non immigrant visa again? i really am confused on what to do... :(

Is your son not on the Visa you received? I don't think there is a seperate interview for your son. I don't really know so if I am wrong somebody correct me. But if your Visa doesn't list your son you should contact the embassy and find out why not.

no because at that time we did not intend for him to come with us here in the US. he didn't undergo medical exams and i i didn't bring him with me during the interview. but i already got answers from other people, they said that i need to pay visa fee for my son and call the embassy and set an interview appointment for him..and after the date for the interview has been set then he can have his medical exam taken...then interview... :) thank you for your reply! :)
