[Hi everyone ,

I had my interview last April 15, 2011 for my k1 visa.. im little bit worried because its almost 3 weeks now my visa is not yet arrived..my friends I've meet during my interview in Us embassy .. have there visa on hand already and then my fiance call the Us embassy bout our papers they just told us its under review.. Im confused :( my question is ? Is there a possibilities that i can't have my visa ?If anybody encounter like my problem please post a comment .. I really need your advice guyz ! im getting depressed already . hahayzz .. i just miss my babe so much ..can't wait to see him .. Hoping my visa will arrive any soon now ..

Many US consulates do extra background checks (often referred to as AP - Administrative Processing) after the interview.

They're long, they're a pain in the rear, there's no knowing how long they can take, but they're quite common and the vast majority of applicants clear them with no problems.

You just have to be patient, trust in Him, and you'll have your visa before you know it. Hang in there.

Sounds like you're in administrative processing. What country is your embassy in?

8-3-11:Administrative Processing ended - APPROVED!!!!!! :D

8-25-11:POE-SFO

9-10-11:Married!!!

9-26-11:Sent AOS Packet

10-6-11:Received NOA1s via text and E-mail

10-9-11:NOA1 hardcopies received, along with biometrics appointment letter

I have read posts of people being put on AP in the Philippines. Try checking out the AP forum, you may be able to get some answers to some of your questions there. I'm sorry you're going through this. I wish you and your fiance the best and hope you get through this quick. Good luck!!! :thumbs:
