Help with police certificate

I saw somewhere at the NVC site which they obtianing the police certificate so my case will not be delayed at NVC..i will like to know,if i go in for the PCC,how long will it take to expire or can they make it 3month,4month etc for me....please i need ur help cos i want to go in tomorrow.

I believe it depends on the country. I know for India that when the PCC is produced...it is valid for 1 year from that date.

Your going to have to check your local jurisdiction on this one, unless another Ghana VJ'er can answer your question.

Last I heard - Ghana was 6 months. Let's see if there is someone with more recent info.

For India do you need the PCC given by the passport office to be submitted to NVC or do you need PCC from any other place as well like local police station etc?

As far as I know that's all that you need. Now, my wife is just getting her passport so she gets the police report from the place that is issuing her passport. I am not sure for others that have a different scenario.
