Guys I forgot to update you with the fact that I landed in the states last week. I was escorted to a room after handing my package to the immigration officer, they reviewed the documents and I was told that I was free to travel etc. on the immigrant visa that was in my Jamaican passport. I was in and out in under 15 mins :).

@AVG like Hura stated..... age16 Police Cert. is required.

Re DNA testing, for me this was not applicable, however,I think usually when the Petitioner is the dad they are requesting the that this be done.

Iam wondering if they allow dna to be done before interview

Hey AVG my dad was the petitioner but I was not asked to do a DNA test. I think that the DNA testing would be applicable when your father is placed on your birth cert after the origional issue.

Iam wondering if they allow dna to be done before interview

Thanks for reporting back. Well, it will mean you'll just take those documents in. Get them quickly!

I had my medical yesterday. It was long, forever and everlasting. But I didn't need to pay for any extra vaccinations! I had looked up the ones I would have needed and gotten them all free at a clinic when I was in the states. The hardest part of the medical was really just the wait. I got it in 8:30 and left at 3pm. Could have flown to NYC and back! I also got to register for my updated police certificate later in the afternoon.

Now, I'm just gonna explore my beautiful country and wait for my medical to be ready in 10 days, and then my interview.

It's so hot here!!!!

Yes everything is ok for you. This is the process when you dont have all your documents. I called a friend and he told me that the follow up interview is really only to take in the documents, you will not be interviewed again. The form that you got having all the outstanding documents is the only thing that lies between you and your green card so attack it like a ninjaph34r.png and get your docs as soon as possible and reschedule your followup appointment.

As it relates to the wait time I am not sure.

Here's the list of the vaccines you'll need. You'll usually find that a comic might provide them at a lower price, if not for free.
