I don't know if they call your job to validate if you are working there, but I believe what they really want to know is how much money you are earning. You have to earn a certain amount of money, or have a certain amount of money in the bank, to show that you can legally support your fiance financially. As for the form, you can list yourself as a volunteer, since that is the truth.

well I think she's the beneficiary, otherwise she wouldn't need to fill this specific form.

the consulate will not check your work situation. this is a standard form, used by different types of visa classifications. as fiancée of a US citizen your case depends on the sponsorship through your partner in the US not on what you earn in the country you're living right now. they might draw samples so it would be good to be honest ;) just in case .... if you are unemployed or doing voluntary work - just write it down and make sure all statements are true.

All I can say is be honest.

You do not want to get caught up in a lie and jeopordize your case.

Good luck!
