Documentation question for Nigerian filers

Hi,

I am a bit confused. In some places I see that the documentation (original birth cert., marriage cert, divorce cert) will be sent to NVC with the DS 230 packet. In other places I am reading that these documents will be taken to the Embassy. Which is true? Do NVC collect the info like with some other countries and forward all of the information to the Embassy when the petition is ready to be sent? Or should I send the originals to my husband so that he then has it in hand to take it to the Embassy for his interview? Thanks so much for your help.

the NvC will need all of the documents,it should also be taken to the interview.

YES-(Do NVC collect the info like with some other countries and forward all of the information to the Embassy when the petition is ready to be sent?)

So bring copies to the interview and send originals to NVC?
