Got NVC number!!

What next? To sign in to pay the NVC fees I also need an IIN. How do I get this? Can I send off the affidavit of support now?

Call monday and get an operator on the line ask them for your IIN number as well...give them your email and your spouse email. they will then send all the documents via email to you. No need for snail mail or waiting longer ;) then you need to sign into the portal and wait until the fees generate and pays them as they show up.

After you receive the ds3032 email have your spouse create a template (off teh shortcut guides) and email it back with the subject line with the nvc case number and RE: choice of agent form ds 3032. Once they receive that they should respond via email to whomever is the agent ( i am for my husband) then the IV bill generates... pay that..as each payment says PAID (can take a few days) print out the receipt and cover sheet with bar codes then mail the packages separately one for the AOS and one for the DS 230. You can send each package at different times if need be...we just happened to be ready to go asap we got it all thru and marked paid.

DO NOT SEND ANYTHING UNTIL YOU HAVE THE PRINTED COVER LETTER AND BARCODE ;)

We overnighted our documents monday and they received tuesday so we are now waiting on completion of case or RFE :S hopefully we will hear something this week :) InsHALLAH

wait until you get the emails....what happens is once you give them your emails it takes a day or two for them to load them into the system. We got our case number on april 7 and thats when i called right back to give them emails and get iin number. the next day we received the emails....giving us our information of things we should fill out etc...they send them to both of you...when your spouse gets that just go ahead nad email the ds3032...but be sure to put your case number and choice of agent form in subject line

All the info for mailing is attached to the cover sheets with bar code you print out once you pay online and it shows paid and printing options.i also included a copy of the paid receipt in my packets...ive heard smtimes the spouse gets askd for payment there....just in case i did that..

we got our first email on the 8th and got our documents all sent in two seperate packages by april 18....would have it sooner but we had to wait until the aos showed paid...then the ds230 showed paid so i just waited for the other one and took them all to the local staples officce and made two identical copies of each one to keep, then xpress mailed for next day confirmation...

now just waiting to see if they complete or send rfe...thanks and good luck to you as well...you arent too far behind :))

OK - just called and gave them our emails and got the IIN number. Signed into the NVC site, but there is no fee there yet...more waiting... :whistle:

check online like twice daily now :) it will show up within a couple of days and then you can start paying fees...it takes a day or two to show paid..once its paid you can print off cover letter with barcode and that will go on top of your packet for the packet you paid.. :)) not so much more waiting ...we are now just waiting for our documents to be approved and forwarded..only took about 8 days from the time we got nvc and iin number to send documents :)

NOW is the time to go over every document you have and make sure you have everything you need...send originals and a copy of each one... good luck!!!

and remember to have your spouse send the ds 3032 via email using the template from her email you gave...they will send a response that they got it and the next ds230 documents will then be sent to you if you are the agent :)

Can we send the DS-3032 email already? I think you mentioned before that we should wait until we get an email message from the NVC. Nice that things are moving along...

you should get the email within a day or two...as soon as you get it send it...

i had drafted an email ready to send and all he did was log into his email account and emailed it from there...;) just a day after getting the iin number etc...

Is it normal to get a 'sign in failed' response on the NVC site if the bill hasn't been generated yet? I managed to sign in 2 days ago, but since then haven't been able to and get the 'sign in failed' red box. Called and they said it's because the bill hasn't been generated yet. Worried that the site will block me since I'm trying to sign in 10 times a day!

LOL i dunno.... We got the case number and two days later i was able to pay the AOS bill...just wait a day..then do it again...maybe you got the numbers mixed up...just be sure you have your case number and your IIN number...it takes like two days or more before the AOS shows up... :)
