I've heard some people just brought the NOA2 and AOS bill paid with case number on it

will this suffice?

would it be ok to just have a copy of the NOA2? or does it have to be an original?

I emailed a scanned copy of the NOA2 and copy of NVC letter with MNL# on it to my wife to use for her early medical. Worked fine. Dont forget the photos and passport.

excellent! and thanks for reminding me about the photos and passport. sometimes these little details get left out of the prep process... LOL. :thumbs:

When I went there, I just told, my petitioner is my husband and I want to have an advance medical :) Response: Sure! :)

good to know! because up til now, my NOA2 hard copy still hasn't gotten here. :bonk:

i just went today for my medical exam..showed my passport and its photocopy, 4 pcs US VISA fotos, my NOA2 and NVC letters (copies will do).

Geez, what is the Philippines obsession with VISA/Passport photos?? Okay, so I'm trying to plan this out for my fiance as she is pretty rural where she lives and does not have convenient access to the Internet cafes. For the MEDICAL, CFO and the INTERVIEW, how many, IN TOTAL, passport size photos does she have to get??

06/20/2002 - Introduced through her Aunt
07/05/2002 - Correspondence begins and continues for years; friendship and feelings slowly but surely grow stronger.
05/12/2009 - Met in Philippines! Stayed for two weeks and had a great time. Can't wait to go back!
10/11/2009 - She said YES! (became engaged)

Ok, I feel better about that...

About the lengthy NVC stay for us, it was just me getting my financials in good order to make sure we didn't have to worry about support issues during the interview. Took longer than I thought to get my cash assets up to a point where they could not be questioned by a CO, plus I had 2010 taxes to file for my small business which took a bit more time than I wanted, but I finally got there (with a stupid RFE, but I got there).

passport photos, I would take about half dozen to a dozen just to be safe. The DS-230 each form needs a photo. then there is the photo on the medical exam. the photo on the folder. there is four right there. Just a lot of passport photos is all. they get attached all over the place.

K-1 Visa Timeline:

02/11/2011 - Engaged at her house by her Godmother.

02/18/2011 - Engagement party with relatives - propose in Visayan.

02/24/2011 - K-1 packet sent.

09/18/2011 - POE, Viva Las Vegas, Baby !!!!! Home to Phoenix.
