Ok, so as some of you may remember I received one of those RFE's from h*....one of the items they requested even though we are still only in the petition phase, was my completed AOS and supporting documents..since my income the last couple years was almost non existent due to my spending most of that time in Egypt with my husband and then only obtaining part time work from Oct'10 til present, my father agreed to be my husbands co-sponsor...He filled out his 864 and gave me the required supporting documents which I sent with the rest of the RFE response over a week ago..I know they are already reviewing everything bc I got their notice stating such...here is my new dillema:

Literally the day after sending in the response package, I was offered and accepted a new job..full time and making enough to allow me to qualify on my own although it is brand new so not sure that really matters..needless to say I quit my part time job which is the one I supplied all the 864 info from and also had listed in regards to their questioning about my current employment...so what do I do now? it's only USCIS petition stage and not NVC yet and my father as a cosponsor more than meets the requirements for sponsorship...so should I just sit tight and let them continue processing as is and if they find at this stage I quit that job and question me, deal with it then...or do I go ahead and send the new info even though they have not requested it? I'm just worried that sending it on my own will cause confusion, delay or it would get misplaced...and obviously we are going to have to revisit the whole AOS stuff in NVC and also provide current info at interview stage anyway....

I say go ahead with the new job and when you need another AOS send in the new one and letter of explanation that you now have this new job. They might still want your co sponsor since the job is new. You didnt lie on any paperwork, it was the true and current situation. Just always provide the most up to date info on your paperwork. By the time you get to interview stage you will have more time on the new job. Best wishes and I hope the new job will help you to keep moving forward on you future. I hope things move quickly for you

Find a job you love to do, and you will never work another day in your life.

suggest you submit a CURRENT I-864 when NVC is waiting on it, not prior.

Then, your CURRENT I-864 will have new data on it (as compared to TODAY).

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
