Pennsylvania resident: Which Service Center??

Hello VJer,

I am a Pa resident. Do you know which office is my application going to be sent to??? (California, Vermont or Texas?)when I filw for my fiance is couple of weeks?

Do you think the processing time are going to stay 5-6 months until the end of th year? I am going to file in May 2011.

My fiance is in Ivory Coast and that embassy doesn't have information.. So I am trying my best to get an idea of when things my settle down with my case... I know you think I am rushing through things.. But there is so much travelling at stake, I need to have a better idea of my possible timeline. Please help if you can!//

You have to send the petition to the Dallas lockbox, they will send it to the Vermont Sercice Center which is processing petitions from Pennsylvania

It will be in Vermont. We are from PA too :)

My Journey:

We met through a study-abroad program in Shanghai, China in August of 2009

We got engaged March of 2010

I received my K1 VISA in 6 months (June-December 2010)

We were married 04/02/2011
I received my conditional 2-year greencard (AOS) in 2.5 months with no interview (April-June 2011)

Our son was born 02/03/2013

I received my masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology 04/17/2013

I received my 10-year greencard (ROC) in 3 months with no interview (March-June 2013)

My husband returned from deployment 06/20/2013

My naturalization journey took 4 months (April-August 2014)

I became a US citizen on 08/01/2014

Received passport in 3 weeks (regular processing)

I see that there is only one month between your NOA1 and NOA2??? Can that happen at all?.. What did you do that made you have such a short waiting time? Thank you.

It was probably expedited because he is in the military.

03/28/11 - Received NOA1 hardcopy by mail

03/29/11 - "Touched"

05/05/11 - Baby flew home :(

08/10/11 - NOA2 (07/21/11 - 08/03/11 - possible NOA2 estimated dates)

08/13/11 - NOA2 hardcopy received via mail

08/24/11 - Received email response w/ NVC case #

08/29/11 - Called NVC - advised our case is under additional processing :S

NVC Left : 2011-09-02

Consulate Received : 2011-09-08

Packet 3 Received : 2011-09-13

Packet 3 Sent : 2011-09-14

Interview Date : 2011-11-03
