Hi so I got my biometrics appointment letter today :) & Im scheduled this weekend. Then i saw this note at the bottom of my letter:

"Due to limited seating availability in our lobby area, only persons who are necessary to assist with transportation should accompany you."

We have no one to leave our toddler with .. So we (me & hubby) are taking him with us. Will this be fine?

Plus anyone here who did biometrics in Grand Rapids, MI? How long does biometrics usually take??. How did yours go? My problem really is, my son hates long lines or waiting.

Your hubby and toddler can stay at home if they want, they're not needed for your biometrics appointment. However if you want them with you, they can probably wait outside, because the biometrics appointment usually goes quickly (like 15 mins).

There was no line where I did biometrics, but it was in PA, not MI.

Ditto

A lot of people who came to my appointment time had their families wait outside. 15 minutes is pretty much the norm. This was in Naperville, IL.

I would not worry about it, Our daughter & I accompanied my wife. We were able to wait inside, she did NOT need my help and she was in & out in less than 30 minutes, you can always have your family wait outside if it is too busy!
