HI ALL, WE GOT OUR NOA2 APPROVAL NOTICE IN THE POST..  AND IT STATES ON THERE THAT OUR APPROVED PETITION HAS BEEN FORWARDED TO THE BENEFICIARY'S CONSULATE.

I EXPECTED THE APPROVED PETITION TO HEAD TOWARDS THE NVC FOR A CASE NUMBER AND THEN FINALLY DOWN THE ROAD TO THE CONSULATE THAT'S CORRECT RIGHT?.

AM INTENDING TO CALL THE CONSULATE AND FIND OUT.

SHOULD I ALSO CALL NVC AND ASK OUR FOR CASE NUMBER?

WHAT NEXT REALLY?

"THIS IS GOING PRETTY FAST AFTER JUMPING THE VSC STAGE"

THANKS IN ADVANCE.

KASH2011.

Another common topic,

Asked yesterday: http://www.visajourn...otice-question/

Standard boiler plate, USCIS is simply keeping the wording simple, they neglect to indicate it is being sent to NVC first, and NVC takes care of sending on to consulate.

Since there is no interaction between petitioner and beneficiary and the NVC, for all intents USCIS is sending it on to the consulate "through" NVC.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.
