Hello, my fiance and I are filling out the K1 forms. I am a US citizen, he is a UK citizen.

I am concerned about the "Applicant's residence" and "Applicant's Last Address Outside US for more than 1 year" on my G-325. I am currently in the UK on a work visa, but have an address in the USA (my parents') and will return there in a few months to start working in the US so I will be able to do the I-134 for my fiance before his interview. For my current residence (which is my fiance's address), will it cause problems that I list a UK residence? I put my parents' address on the I-129.

On the "Address outside US" question, I have lived outside the USA for more than 1 year, but it was broken up and at 2 addresses. What happened was:

1) I went to Uni in the UK for 11 months (Residence Halls Address)

2) I went back to the USA for 3 months (parents' address)

3) I returned the the UK for graduation/work permit (fiance's address)

What should I put in the "Last address outside the US for more than 1 year" box?

Thank you for your help ^_^

Would there be any harm in just attaching a sheet explaining this? I don't want to get an RFE or look like I'm hiding anything.

@Bandage Girl-

I was in the same situation as you were; I lived abroad in the UK at the time of filing with my fiance, but moved back to the US in Feb to take a job a job and complete the I-134.

Don't take this advice as concrete - but I would use whatever address you used on your I-129F. It might cause them confusion if you use two different addresses, unless you want to attach a detailed supplement. You just don't want to confuse them :)

Just what we did (and worked):

* I-129F - used our UK address but attached a supplement stating that I wished to use my parents address for all correspondence.

* G-325 - used our UK address so it would match.

Thanks, Kristin. I think I will be attaching supplements, just to avoid confusing them like you said. I'm glad yours worked out! It must be really exciting. :D
