Hi tat24!

First, congratulations on your interview date! I had my interview last month, and it went very smoothly. I had maybe 25 pictures, various documents showing joint assets and what not. The IO looked at our pictures super quick, I felt stupid that I had taken so much time gathering them and putting them in a scrapbook! This is what I had, documents wise:

- All our statements from our joint checking account

- A letter from Chris' 401K stating me as the main beneficiary

- Car insurance papers

- Tax transcripts showing we filed married jointly

- Pictures

- A sheet from the vet stating that Chris and I are both owner of our dog

- 2-3 letters addressed to us (Xmas cards, etc...)

Basically, the IO will ask you both to stand up and take the oath, he/she will go through the list of questions you answered in the AOS form (are you a terrorist, prostitute, etc). To me this was the most intense part of our interview because the IO kept her eyes locked on me the entire time. I felt like I was going to fail if I blinked!!! Apart from that we were asked how we met, etc. Chris was asked more questions than I was (maybe because he was not at my K1 interview).

Relax, be prepared, and remember that when you're legit, you have nothing to worry about. The IO will explain the process of 'removal of conditions' might take your AP and EAD and will definitely take your I-94 when you're approved.

Let us know how it goes! Good luck!
