Hello all!

My medical is in two weeks. I am having surgery in June. My surgery isn't anything too serious, I have an ovarian cyst that I am getting removed. I honestly can't see this being an issue as it isn't something people can catch and is pretty common. I don't want to change the date of my medical as I won't know the exact date of my surgery until the hospital calls me, which could be between now and a month from now.

I am getting a note from my doctor stating the procedure and what it is for. I am going to bring that to the medical with me so it is on file.

Basically, I just want to know if anyone has had a surgery after the medical, and if it caused any problems with the interview of even AOS? I think as long as I have it documented that I am having the surgery when I go to the medical, that it should be okay. I am not trying to hide anything!

I wouldn't worry about it. Its not something you can give to someone else so they probably will not be concerned.

Just make sure to take care of yourself after the surgery and heal up well!

I had surgery not long after I entered the USA. Its very expensive in the US, even for an emergency visit for dehydration! ( didn't drink enough fluids after surgery lol ) Its not affected anything so far. It was a general surgery that most people get as a child.
