After seeing that it is 100 or so days at LEAST between NOA1 and NOA2.. :( i was thinking of going with the kids to wait there with him before the NOA2.....I am confident we will be approved, there are no issues whatsoever with either one of us.......has anyone run into issues with the USC not being in the US while waiting on NOA2? he only got to see our new baby for her first month, shes already 6 months old....and was hoping to just wait it out down there...all together.....any advice?

The USC visitng the beneficiary during this process is fine, its actually encouraged b/c you can prove that relationship is still going on since you applied. It also doesnt matter if you get NOA2 while there, you dont have to do anything, its automatically forwarded to NVC.

FYI:

NOA2 takes longer than 3 months, average is 5 months (CSC) to 6 months (VSC). Also, it will take a few weeks for NVC to process and send to consulate. Depending on your Consulate, they could have it for a month or more to set up an appointment.

thanks for the reply, yes my father is going to co sponsor...

Hope you checked to see that co-sponsors are allowed by that embassy. In some countries they are not. You must be aware of the possible time delay between the NOAs & then the time to get the actual interview. If you have the time & money to do as you say it may just be the best thing you could do. Your lack of job & or income for an extended time might become a problem during the intervew but I dont know anything about that embassy. Be sure you are certian of what they will do.
