Good, great, and fantastic! I hope and pray that all has been well with you. I'm actually calling the embassy today in hopes that our interview date has been set. You can always PM me to say "Hi!" I bite, but only my fiancee. LOL! Cheers!!!

And then there's the deadening security blanket of 'irony'. It's one of the most odious elements of postmodernism, and in it's present anodyne form enables just about everything to be considered 'acceptable'/'good'/'hilarious' without first passing through even the most basic process of individual reflection. It feels like people no longer have to OWN their likes/beliefs/cultural microcosms, because anything goes, as long as you've got the ironic 'angle' on it (and probably a really crappy hairstyle to match).:whistle:

Sorry if this is too postmodern, but what are you on about in this post? (warning: rhetorical question)

This is not about posting your opinions to an Off Topic debate about the virtures of British bread or US gun control, this is about the purpose of this site and immigration information.

I'm glad it's not just me who sees that there is a LOT of misinformation being posted here lately and less and less supporting links to back up people's 'just go for it' posts.

EVERY answer given here should be backed up with one's own personal research.

Nope, i do not agree! Now for those of us related....strongly related to Bill....Bill Maher....yes that works because we simply raise one eyebrow...the Rock style and dig deeper but thats us.....

Then there are those who may not even be members, who are simply surfing and do not understand how to navigate the VJ site. Some may see answers...especially those posted with underlying definite tones, and simply take those answers as the truth.

A disclaimer helps or an indication that suggests to those kind of people to cross-check becomes even more important.

We shouldnt discourage those who post answers because they may not be 100% accurate since some issues seem to be constantly changing but we should, we must, add notes of caution when we are not close to 100% certain about some answers......

I agree with you..

I want to POINT OUT..

this Subject matter is in the wrong forum. should be in off topic

since its not k-1 or embassy related. hahahahahhaaa

Agreed. It seems to be hard for some people to say 'hmm I'm really not sure' - or post nothing at all.

I'd rather have an 'I'm not sure' than a wrong answer that either causes me more time in the process or has me going in a direction where I'm doing nothing more than chasing my tail.

Remember, too, that there is nothing more powerful than doing your own research and finding the answer yourself. Most of what you'll need is here if you take the time to look.
