Hello Folks,

I just want to share about my experiences for my AOS. I came here September 2010 using K1 visa. We got married November 2010. Filed AOS December 2010. I was scheduled for my Biometrics January 2011 and Received my EAD and AP (combo card)February 2011. By March 15 I received a letter from USCIS that our case has been forwarded to National Benefit Center and the reason according to the letter was "our record indicates that office has jurisdiction over the case". Is there anyone among you who received the same letter? And then on March 18 we received a letter again that our case has been transfered to a USCIS office. Until now we haven't received any feedback from them and still waiting for our interview. I am a little impatient at times and could not sleep well at night whenever I think of the unpleassant experiences from others who have gone through this Immigration works. Good Luck to all of us..

NBC does ALL the AOS petitions.

You want to see if you have been forwarded to CSC or your local office. If you are forwarded to CSC that is for "faster processing" and you might not have an interview. If you are sent to your local office you will have an interview.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

To Inky,

Thank you so much for the quick reply. I think our case is still at the CSC. I check my status online today still in Intitial Review. I really hope that we don't need to go for an interview. We are planning to move to Phoenix in the next two months and We are so anxious about this and hope we will here from them soon... Thanx again.
