I'll definitely keep you updated. I dont think I need to bring updated info to the interview since I was already approved but Im nervous about that. I know my police checks are good - I checked the dates - but my medical expired Dec 29th :-/

Check out normally at noon depends which hotel you docked at, unless you ask the front desk to hold the stuff for you until you come back.

My appointment was 9:30am didn't leave until 12:30pm - I don't know some might get calls early for interview.

Ask to keep your luggage at the hotel or if you have something small, like a backpack you can store it at the Eaton Centre.

They dont allow big bags into the US Consulate.

Pissed off girl in a grey hoodie with a bun? If so, yeah it was me.

We did get good news. We passed, again...but I need to redo the medical and send my passport back with it. I won't believe I am approved until I see the Issued on CEAC lol

Hey guys!

My interview was in Montreal this past Monday January 11th, 2016. I applied for a green card through marriage, so a CR-1 I believe.

When I log onto CEAC it still says "READY" and I have not received any email from Canada Post about tracking. The agent at my interview said that there was a large possibility of my passport coming back by the weekend as they have been coming back quick.

So my question is did any of you experience some sort of lag on behalf of CEAC or with Canada Post generating the waybill number?

- Thanks!

I am just compulsively checking on CEAC to see if they have received my package there. Delivered yesterday per Canada Post but nothing today.

Holy anxiety.

How much time full interview process took? From entering building to coming out from building. Just want to know because I have to do check out from hotel tomorrow too.

My interview was scheduled for 10am on Monday January 11th, 2016

I arrive 9:30am to line up outside. Waited 15-20 minutes outside. Got called into security. Took the elevator downstairs to the 19th floor. Sat down and got called up for my documents at 10:10am. Took roughly about 10 minutes. Was asked to sit back down. Then was called up again at 11:20 for my interview. Interview lasted 10 minutes. Was done by 11:30.

Hope this helps!

When was your interview?

December 18. They asked for another sponsor, and because I had travel to the US booked for Dec. 28-Jan. 7 they gave me back my passport and I sent the forms and passport back to them as soon as I got back to Canada. I was not anticipating it would take the courier this long to get something from Vancouver to Montreal, and my plan A is to do my POE on January 19 (which I am pretty confident won't happen); plan B is to do it on January 29 or 30 (which may still be possible).

I don't have a plan C yet. We have to get out of our house by the 29th, and I haven't quite figured out how it will work if I'm still in AP by then.

I think what they think is "quick" and what the rest of us might think is quick is different...

They told me at the interview 2 weeks. I had my interview yesterday and my status shows "Issued" but it first showed "issued" with a paragragh about administrative processing (last night) and now shows "Issued" with something about final processing and if I have not received it in 5 days to track it and a link...which doesn't work. If I check on ais.usvisa-info.com it still says "Check DS-260 status" which it did before which is something that is "normal" it seems...haha

Man this process has a lot of odd stuff in it that is odd or broke or whatever.
