Id also like to know if mshp was doing the CR1 or K1? Im hoping its not the CR1 because Im already on week 7 and that would mean that this waiting process could go on for another month or more. :(

Our visa was CR1, I did not miss any doc. but my husband was from one the country which is in a list the US has a bit problem with them. anyways, the longest time an US embassy can let you wait to answer you, is 90 days, if they don't answer you in this time frame your attorney can sue them which is expensive process, embassy know it and won't let it pass the time. I contact my state senator and I feel he was the reason they gave my husband's visa, unfortunately lawyers can do nothing in this part of process. GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL

Hello everyone,

I had my interview on September 22 and my immigrant visa was approved on that day. My CEAC status changed to administrative processing on the 23rd, and it remains as AP till today. I'm so worried as it stays under AP for 3 business days now and it seems that the status date was updated daily as I checked it frequently everyday. Is this normal and anyoneis on the same boat? Thanks guys!

Hey everybody!

I have a general question, and I'm trying to reach out to see if there is anybody else in the same boat. I had my interview at the MTL consulate on Sept 21, and there have been absolutely no updates to my case since then- no notification about it being in AP, no additional requests for any other documentation. I'm trying to remain patience, but this process has spread me thin.

Has anyone gone weeks since their interview without ever getting any updates? How long did your process take after your interview?

We got an email from Loomis a couple of hours ago giving us a waybill number, then about an hour later another email saying the visa is ready for pick up (October 8th). Anyone that had an interview around/after October 16 still waiting for their passport or in AP? :( I'm starting to get a little nervous...even though it's still normal processing time, reading all of the horror stories had made me anxious >.<

We had our interview Friday, Oct. 16, and our status changed to AP on the 19th (following Monday). I guess that's a good sign-ish? sigh....

HI Priya did you hear anything from them?

We received a letter via his senator saying that all our paperwork is fine and there is no issue with anything we sent. Some of the paper work is still going through administrative processing though.

Basically, they just told us to chill out and wait.

There is another member on this board who is in the same situation as I am. They had the exact same interview date, passed the interview and have been told they are still in Administrative Processing. Its been 13 weeks now. Ugh,
