Anybody who got their I-130/ I-485/ I-765 applications back from Chicago Lockbox

Hello VJ'ers,

I just want to find out if anybody here have their applications sent back from Chicago? I sent my forms with no barcodes, but I'm pretty confident that I submitted copies of all the required supporting documents. Dumb on my part because I didn't change the printer settings, and I only found out about Visa Journey the day after I submitted my application. I called them and they just told me to wait 30 days after I filed. I have a feeling that they would send them back to me. Most of the March filers have heard from them and had their checks cashed. They got my application on March 10, never heard anything from them, and they still haven't cashed my checks. I'm wondering how long does it take for them to send back the rejected applications.

Mine was accepted even though I am still convinced that I had no barcodes!

Just hang in there. Some people have had to wait longer for their NOA1.

Thanks for the encouraging words. I'm still patiently to hear from them. Just like what you advised before, I printed out the corrected forms, in case they send all my paperwork back.

I send my applications on march 03 and I got my e-mail confirmation on march 23..actually I got 3 e-mail confirmation..I guess is one for each application..

about your question if somebody got the file back.. on Saturday march 26 I got only one I-797C Notice of action so just keep waiting..sure it will come..please keep post it

I filed march 3rd and its been 28 days past and no NOA1 yet. I figured that the Student and working visa adjusting status to legal permanent resident has faster progress compare to overstayed tourist visa filers.

Did you file with EAD (I765) or just I485???

Why would it be any faster? Overstay is forgiven when you marry a US citizen so all of the cases will be handled in the same way. You need to wait till the 30th day and then either call the 1-800 number or make an info pass appointment to find out what is going on.

Was everything ok with your packet? Did you go over the copied packet to see if you had made any huge errors that may have delayed it in some way?

Someone has probably asked you these questions already, but can you track the package? Do you know it was delivered? Did someone sign for it? Have checks been cashed? They do say it can take up to 30 days, but you are getting pretty close to that mark.. If it has been signed for and/or checks have been cashed, at least you know it made it there.

I filed I-131, 485, 130 & 765 and it was received on March 4th with no barcodes. Received receipt notices on March 8th.

Biometrics received on March 21st, walk-in done on the 22nd.

We double checked so im sure that there is no errors.

Mrs.Finland is right...did you send it with confirmation receipt so you would know

if someone signed for it, or when it was delivered? Because we don't wanna scare

you, but sometimes mail people are like .. :/ that's why i send my important documents

with tracking/confirmation numbers... they would send you your return receipt if your docs

have been delivered.

I called USCIS and an operator transferred me to another line and everything that i needed to know was answered.

She has a weird accent and i was so distracted lol! Anyways, she said that my AOS package was received on March 7th and after two weeks they cashed the check, that was 2days ago. Kinda took awhile.

And she even gave me my Receipt #. Starts with MSC.

Well that was a big relief. Its like a big thorn pulled out from my brain lol!

well, that's great news! perhaps you can ask them if they can send you a hardcopy of noa1? o.O because you can put it in your records, but if it doesn't bother you, then you are fine, at least you can check your status online, anytime
