I was expecting to wait 5 to 6 months for the NOA2 but on 3/21/11 a person whos NOA1 was the day before mine and the other person had the day after me both received there NOA2. I dont know if I should think maybe with some luck mine will be soon or just realize I do not have that kind of luck and not get my hopes up (which is what I am leaning towards I am a realist for the most part) I feel for the people who have been waiting 6 or 7 months just to see people with only a month be approved, but as bad as I feel for them I am praying ours will come up soon also. Seems to me there has been a rash of 1 or 2 months NOA2 Just my 2 cents on a wacky system. Daniel

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

But those two approvals were obvious expedites.

Look at the country.

Both of them are from Japan.

There was a rash of late January/early February filers who got approved last month, but nothing since then. I would guess those were a misplaced box that got processed out of order or something. Either that or it was USCIS trying to bolster their numbers/averages by approving a few quick.

Hope for the best but be prepared for the worst or else you will go crazy in the process.

My K-1 got approved in a little less than 5 months which makes me feel lucky when you look at how long a lot of people at VSC are waiting, but now I'm going through the Montreal consulate, which is super slow, so I'm more than making up for it.
