I just wondering when I received my visa today from Embassy Manila that delivered by the 2Go courier I found out the yellow envelope had torn on the right side top of it a bit but still sealed. There's a warning paper written on it that says do not open the yellow envelope only open the plastic pouch to retrieve the passport but I wonder why it has a hole like intentionally cut by the scissor. Anyone got their yellow envelope from embassy has already torn ? Please I want to hear anyone who has any idea on this matter. Thank you for the kind words in advance.. God bless us all.

You say it's torn, then say it looks cut by scissors - which is it?

If it's torn, then you may have to contact the embassy to fix it.

If it's cut with scissors, I have seen some envelopes with a small slit/window cut into it to allow visual inspection, but not allow actual removal of docs. (again - contact the embassy for guidance).

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

My wife got the same cut on the right side too...I was worried about it, but since you have the same thing then I guess it is okay.. but my other worry is that they had place her middle name (Her unmarried last name) along with her FirstName under the "GIVEN NAME" I wonder if that also the same with you and also if they had change your case number Like "MNLXXXXXXX" into something else, because her's is mostly the same but different number on the last digit... I'm just wandering if its typo or not.. anybody else has the same outcome? mine is Cr-1 and not K-3 by the way.
