Fantastic day! Nigel got his interview date! It is set for March 29. Other good news: I got a great new job! I am so excited about it, but I am worried it is creating a problem. I just accepted the job, and I don't really want to be asking for an employment letter for a visa on Day 1. By the time Nigel has his interview, I will have been working there for over a week, so does that mean I should send him an updated 134 for the interview with the new job? What if it doesn't get there in time? I won't have any paycheck stubs or anything to back it up. Or can he just take the one he already has? I will still be employed at the old job, just not as many hours. This is very awkward timing and I am not sure exactly what to do.

My advice would just be to keep things as is. No need to change anything at this point. I mean if you are still in your old job and you made over the poverty limit then there really isn't any problems. :)

My Journey:

We met through a study-abroad program in Shanghai, China in August of 2009

We got engaged March of 2010

I received my K1 VISA in 6 months (June-December 2010)

We were married 04/02/2011
I received my conditional 2-year greencard (AOS) in 2.5 months with no interview (April-June 2011)

Our son was born 02/03/2013

I received my masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology 04/17/2013

I received my 10-year greencard (ROC) in 3 months with no interview (March-June 2013)

My husband returned from deployment 06/20/2013

My naturalization journey took 4 months (April-August 2014)

I became a US citizen on 08/01/2014

Received passport in 3 weeks (regular processing)

Me too. Just leave it like it is and get the visa. Start fresh with the I-864 when you file AOS listing the new job as your employer and go from there.
