Coming to visit while I-130 is being processed

My husband and I have been waiting for 7 months for his I-130 to be approved. He is abroad. I'm in the U.S. He has a tourist visa. Would it be a problem if he came to visit for a few weeks? Or would he face immigration problems at the airport?

His visiting would not complicate the I-130 petition, however, entering would be a bit "risky". He would be at the mercy of the customs at POE. If he's lucky, they'll let him through, otherwise, he'd be turned back.

Yes, that's similar to what I have been told. Of course, the information I get from USCIS, the State Dept and US Customs and Border Patrol is all different. I guess we will continue to be patient. Thanks for your help! Hopefully it wont take much longer.
