Hello Everyone.. Congrats in all those new interviews!! Only 3 weeks until i get to go to mine.. Today is been a month since i did the Biometrics and Still nothing with the EAD i wonder if there is something wrong.. A friend of mine got it 2 weeks after the biometrics..

01/14/2011 - Married in Salt Lake City

03/07/2011 - AOS Package Sent (I-130, I-485, I-765)

03/08/2011 - (Day 01) - AOs Package Delivered

03/20/2011 - (Day 12) - NOA1 received via SMS & Email

03/23/2011 - (Day 15) - Checks cashed $1490, all Is Touched

03/23/2011 - (Day 15) - NOA1 hard copies received via mail

03/30/2011 - (Day 18) -Biometric Appointment received (for I-765 and I-485, Original Date: 4/19/11)

04/04/2011 - (Day 23) - Walk-in Biometric Successful (for I-765 and I-485)

14/04/2011 - (Day 33) - Interview Letter arrived Date May 23 At 2pm.

14/05/2011 - (Day 66) - EAD ordered it said it was on May 11 now it says on the 16 weird.

19/05/2011 - (Day 71) - EAD Receieved in the mail

19/05/2011 - (Day 71) - Applied for Social Security number

23/05/2011 - (Day 74) - Interview day - APPROVED!!!!!!!

processing times at the USCIS web site clearly shows why we don't have any movement on interviews for new york people.

for san diego office it says 4 months, which means they process the I-485 cases in less than 4 months

for new york office it says september 10, 2010, this is the last dated application they processed, I mean just wow, I don't think, I don't think We're getting any interview letter till august then...

But what about our EAD and AP's ?? Alot of us on the East Coast are still waiting and we did Biometrics earlier than some people who have gotten it in the West Coast...Im starting to panic bc we need our AP in 3 weeks!!

05/25/08 - Met through friends

08/03/08 - Became an official couple!

11/30/09 - Moved in together!

02/25/11 - Got married in Florida!

03/14/11 - Mailed AOS/AP/EAD to Chicago (Overnight)

03/15/11 - Delivery Confirmation from USPS to Chicago Lockbox

03/19/11 - NOA Text recieved from USCIS

03/18/11 - Official NOA letter recieved in mail! The process is offically in motion :)

03/26/11 - Received Biometrics Appt in Mail- April 11!

04/01/11 - Successful Biometrics Walk-In- East Hartford, CT

05/03/11 - EAD/AP approval

06/14/11 - Email notification of Interview on July 20!

you're absolutely right, i did my biometric long before than almost all march filers but that doesn't change anything on the interview coz it depends on the busyness of the freaking local office being nyc here.

for I-765 there is no estimate time so we don't know really, probably because they say it will be processed within 3months.

Well I'm using an attorney. Our local office says 4 months processing time but I haven't heard a peep since getting the NOA letters. So at least you guys at the NY office have done your biometrics.

AOS application sent: 03/16/2011

Application Received: 03/17/2011 (Day 1)

Checks Cashed: 03/22/2011 (Day 6)

Received hard copies of AOS: 03/25/2011 (Day 9)

My best guess is that we will start seeing interviews for NYC in July/August at the earliest and I really believe that it could be as late as September.

As for the EAD, I am not expecting to see anything till the end of this month at the very earliest but more than likely June.

NYC office is notoriously busy and there is not much we can do about that.

I just received my INTERVIEW LETTER! Scheduled for June 7th! The atty fees are so worth it. Processing went smoothly, no RFEs. :D
