Fatima's K-1 visa was just approved last week, and now I'm visiting her in London to celebrate!

We're hoping to plan out her move while I am here.

Any recommendations on shipping methods or companies?

Our funds are limited, and she won't be bringing that much stuff...

Possibly a few items of furniture (shared sea cargo container?)

And/or a few boxes of miscellaneous items (clothing, books, etc.)

AND we need to bring her cat Nemo over as well!

I'll be flying back to portland on the 28th, and could take some stuff with me as excess baggage...

Not sure how the charges compare with shipping stuff other ways...

Any info or direction would be helpful!!

Thanks,

Doug B

I'm from Portland as well, so it looks like we'll be helping the Brit population over here :)

As far as shipping, Paul and I haven't decided on which one to go with yet, but you can find some info here

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/128548-yes-its-another-shipping-thread/

And you can Google some reviews for the companies you're interested in.

Good luck on the move!
