K2 child over 21

I got my K1 when my son is still 20 years old. But he will just follow me within one year. His birthday is in October and since we need time to raise the money for his and his little brother's coming to the U.S., I was thinking he and his little brother would follow in January 2012 instead of October 2011.

MY QUESTION IS: Will he still be GIVEN a K2 VISA if he applies for it when he is already 21 years old?

If any of you know the answer, kindly please reply. I really need the answer soon. Thanks a lot!

The age out cut off is 21, MUST come to the USA and ADJUST STATUS BEFORE age 21

I the money is an issue then bring over the older, and then the younger could come over on an IR-2 if marriage takes place before age 18, or would also have to come over on a K-2

K-2 needs to be issued within 1 year after the K-1

If you don't get the 20 year old here right away, then file to adjust his status immediately upon arrival, you'll be sunk. I smell "borrowing" in your future. Good luck to you.
