Roll back the Federal government to a decade ago levels. Budget deficit fixed. Bring our troops worldwide home now and reduce the defense budget accordingly. Use the savings to start paying down our debt.

Military is expensive and if we are going to require them to be global police force spread all over the world then we have to pay for it unless we just give them sticks and tell them to walk or swim to their next posts.
