We called the US Embasy in Manila and they said they mailed out our Appointment Letter on 2/8/2011, when should my fiance expext the letter at her post office?

They used to send that stuff out by courier. You want to make sure somebody is at the address you gave the Embassy in Manila until she gets the packet.

not sure how soon the letter will arrive, but if your physical petition has arrived at the Embassy and it's entered into their system, your good to go. have you already checked out the K-1 Visa Interview preparation instructions?

My wife's appointment letter arrived 9 days prior to her interview...I called and found out the interview date about a month an a half before.

The USEM sends the appointment letter not through the post office but by Air21 courier, so don't expect it to be delivered by your postman. As for my case, the letter was dated Jan. 13, 11 and i received it on Jan. 19, 11 so six (6) days, I'm just from Muntinlupa. Probably it'll take longer if you live in the province.

mine send feb 1 until now i dont have the letter , my fiance call the usem earlier if we can schedule interview they said yes and they send link what is in the letter and number to call if you want to schedule your interview through phone.no need to wait the letter ,i think your case is in their system.

The post mail is a headache there. If she can get her appointment by email the better.
